“Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass and to stand before the Son of Man.” Luke 21:36
Abba, our Father, it is you who knows all things that is about to happen. We focus our reflection today of the truth that no one of us is safe unless we heed your advice that we always watch and pray. The great tribulation is on its way and is coming to test all the people on earth if they shall revere you and seek you and turn to you. We pray and commend to you our walk of faith today and tomorrow. Help us to stay awake in performing our religious duties as Christians. May we take it to our heart that we may face any challenges anytime. We may be strong today and be weak tomorrow or be injured in this perilous world but do not let us befall in losing our faith. You are our only hope. The words you have given us are our armament and defense against all trials that would come our way. Strengthen us in fighting the good fight of faith for us to press on and to lay hold of the prize of the great calling you have called us which is the perfecting of holiness in our entire lives. Amen.
