“Only be strong and very courageous, faithfully doing everything in the teachings that my servant Moses commanded you. Don’t turn away from them. Then will succeed wherever you go. (Joshua 1:7 GW)
We are commissioned to preach the gospel of salvation, baptize believers in the name of Jesus Christ, to teach and train them to serve and worship the Most Holy God in an acceptable manner. Many will refuse God’s offer of salvation. They will reject God and they will reject us. It could be frustrating and disheartening, but we need not lose heart for God is with us. He encourages us to be strong and courageous to continue doing our mission of soul winning. We have to endure and be patient in sowing the seeds of the words of God in the hearts of men. Soon, it will grow into faith and they will be rooted in Christ to produce fruits of righteousness. Thus, let us all stay focused. Be faithful in our commitment to lead souls to Christ. Let not anything hinder us for what we are doing is the work of God. We can smell the sweet aroma of success. It is just around the corner.
