God will bless you, if you don’t give up when your faith is being tested. He will reward you with a glorious life, just as he rewards everyone who loves him. (James 1:12 CEV)
God loves you and me. He loves us so that He wants us to be perfectly like Him. He is holy, so we should be holy. To be holy is to follow Him and live according to His teachings. We are instructed to go on and strive to reach perfection. To be perfect, He willed for us to undergo a series of tests. These tests are like fire that purifies gold. Faith is important like gold that we should treasure. Against all temptations, we should hold fast our faith. Instead of wavering, we should stand firm. In the face of trials, we should be patient to endure until we overcome. We have to work out our salvation by fighting for and keeping the faith. Keeping the faith is practicing it; living and walking according to your faith. Walk by faith and not by sight. Live not with the material things of the world but with the promise of life above which is heaven. If we endure till the end, we shall receive the crown of life. Remember if we bear sufferings for the sake of our faith for a little while, we shall wear the crown of life forever.
