95th Anniversary Thanksgiving Celebration

The 95th anniversary of the Most Holy Church of God in Christ Jesus was celebrated last Beulah (May) 1, 2017 at Alonte Stadium in Biñan, Laguna. This much-anticipated thanksgiving event was attended by thousands of church members throughout Luzon. Some even came home from abroad to witness this celebration of gratitude and praise for the Lord’s faithfulness to His Church.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The event was filled with different worship songs, dances and presentations from Agape Choir, The New Jerusalem Choir, Praise God Band, Choir of Zion and Kapisanang Alpha Omega (Youth Organization). One of the highlights of the celebration was the journey of the Church for the past 95 years as depicted by the members of Kapisanang Alpha Omega from the province of Nueva Ecija (Sakop of Hinirang and Ozem) through their production number.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Many have arrived early at the venue prepared to receive the full blessing of the Lord given through the sermon entitled “The Church of the Living God” (“Ang Iglesia ng Dios na Buhay) delivered by the General Bishop, Elder Hiel.

 

The sermon reminded everyone of the greatness of the Lord, the living God.  The Lord is the one true savior of His Kingdom, the Most Holy Church of God in Christ Jesus, to which His children were called. In the Church, people will find peace in their hearts, and Elder Hiel urged everyone to preach the Gospel until the end. He also encouraged everyone to perfect holiness out of reverence for God, and serve and love Him with all their heart, soul, and mind.

 

 

 

This was just the start of the road to centennial of the Church. The brethren parted ways with renewed spirit as they look forward to the 100th anniversary of the Church in 2022.
