God also bound himself with an oath, so that those who received the promise could be perfectly sure that he would never change his mind. (Hebrews 6:17 NLT)
In God we trust! Is there a strong basis for this? Yes, He took an oath and put His Lordship on the line. If He does not fulfill His promise, then He is not God. His words do not carry any weight or value if what He said does not happen. But since the beginning of time, His words came to pass. His promises were fulfilled. Not a single word from His lips fail to happen. Brethren, we can trust the Lord God. He fulfills what he said and we are confident that we shall receive His promises. Hold on to your faith, be strong in your hope, and continue to do His will.
