The Lord our God commands us to serve Him faithfully. It is a proof of our love for Him. We ought to love Him because He created us, provides for our existence, protects, and saves us. This gift of life He gave us must be lived for His glory. Our life is limited. We just have a few years, months, days, hours, minutes, and seconds to live in this world. It cannot be recovered. Every moment is valuable. We are stewards of life. Spend it wisely. Enjoy it and live by God’s purpose in your life. If you are a good steward, the Lord will give you more days or years to live by and enjoy. Live your life now for eternity. That is the meaningful life. To do so is to be holy, righteous, and blameless. Be obedient to God’s will and serve Him all the days of your life.
