All this is evidence that God’s judgment is right, and as a result you will be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are suffering. (2 Thessalonians 1:5 NIV)
Christ said that we should find and enter the narrow gate and walk the path of righteousness which leads to life. There is also a wide gate and broad way of wickedness that leads to destruction and death. It is hard, lonesome, and most of the times, stressful and troublesome to take this narrow path. We need to endure sufferings to pass through this road. On the other hand, the wide road is easy to walk on but the final destination is misery. We are already in the right path. Keep our focus and stay on the road of holiness. Do not turn left nor right. Instead, walk the straight path. Though the road is rough and difficult, if we are together, we can finish this journey. We can help each other out along the way, comforting and encouraging each other until the end. Brothers and sisters, take my hand and I’ll hold on to you too. Let’s finish this life’s journey. God is with us.
