Let us understand where God is coming from in dealing with us. He is in the position of sovereign power. He is the ONLY LIVING, ALL POWERFUL, ALL KNOWING, ALL SEEING, AND EVER PRESENT FROM ETERNITY TO ETERNITY. HE IS the ONLY GOD. He does not consult anybody or need help nor advice in whatever He plans to do. Everyone should and must submit to Him either now or in the future. If we submit to His will now through faith, God will be so happy to give us His favor in abundance. If we do not, He will come to us in different instances to bend our proud hearts until we succumb to His words. And if still our hearts are hardened, He will come to reign the world, with an iron fist, and the strength of His might will make all knees bend in praise of Him. It is much lighter for us to receive God’s discipline now. It shows that He loves us. He reprimands us when we do wrong and favors us when we do good. God is fair. He loves you and me. He is after our welfare. Have faith and confidence in Him.
