The Spirit of the LORD will be with him to give him understanding, wisdom, and insight. He will be powerful, and he will know and honor the LORD. (Isaiah 11:2 CEV)
Christ, who is God manifested in the flesh, established His kingdom on earth, the Church. Unlike any other, His kingdom is spiritual in nature. Like in Heaven, He rules the Church in a spiritual way. His Spirit is with those whom He chooses as instruments to manage His Church. As such, they have divine understanding, wisdom, and insight to shepherd the flock the way Christ would. The same spirit of understanding, wisdom and insight is distributed to the brethren from the Church Leaders as blessings, like precious oil from the head, through the beard of Aaron to the edge of His robe. Thus, the Church overcomes and pleasantly honors the Lord together in perfect unity.
