Our holy God lives forever in the highest heavens, and this is what he says: Though I live high above in the holy place, I am here to help those who are humble and depend only on me. (Isaiah 57:15 CEV)
The greatness of God is unfathomable. His holiness and perfection is limitless. Compared to Him, we are nothing. Yet, God is loving and caring. In His Highness, He came to us with mercy and grace. He made us His sons and daughters. We know we do not deserve to be called children of the Most High because of our transgressions. But then, He is forgiving and kind. He formed a covenant with us which in a way may be called a suzerain relationship. It is God, the supreme King, giving us privilege, though we are likened as slaves. The covenant is based on God’s unconditional everlasting love. It assures us of His help in every way. We can only thank God for His love. Love Him by obeying Him. Be humble and trust Him wholeheartedly.
