The LORD is slow to get angry, but his power is great, and he never lets the guilty go unpunished. He displays his power in the whirlwind and the storm. The billowing clouds are the dust beneath his feet. (Nahum 1:3 NLT)
God is rich in kindness. His patience and forbearance should lead us to repentance. He does not execute punishment to the wicked instantly but gives them all the chances to realize their iniquities and change their ways in accordance to His will. Know that God has infinite power to punish the sinners and reward the righteous. He is able to swiftly and justly give judgment to all. The power of God to execute punishment can be seen by the destruction and death brought about by natural calamities that occur on earth. That is how God can easily execute His judgment. Knowing that God sees us and that we cannot hide from Him, we should live upright, obey His commands, and always be right with Him.
