Take heed that you do not do your charitable deeds before men, to be seen by them. Otherwise you have no reward from your Father in heaven. (Matthew 6:1)
A key to a victorious Christian life is having a righteous purpose and motivation in doing our ministries. We should regularly reflect ourselves to check if we are doing our christian duties with a clean heart and mind. Everytime we do the commandments of God, especially those that is related with our service to our fellow, we should make sure that we are not doing it to gain praise from people. Rather, we should keep in our hearts that we will do everything for the glory of the Lord. In order for us to achieve this, let us do as what Apostle Paul says, do everything with love. With love, our service and sacrifices becomes meaningful. With love, we will never do or even think any evil against anyone. That way, my dear brothers and sisters, we do our christian duties acceptable to the Lord and worthy of a reward from Him.
