For by a single offering he has perfected for all time those who are being sanctified. (Hebrews 10:14 ESV)
Jesus Christ, our Lord God and Savior, served as the High Priest offering only one sacrifice, which was His body and soul, for the forgiveness of our sins. It is unlike the High Priests who offered yearly sacrifices, not of themselves but of animals whose blood cannot erase the sins of the Israelites. Because of His death on the cross, we were covered by His blood, resulting to our consecration or separation for a life of holiness on earth and of everlasting life of happiness in heaven. His death signaled the revelation of the Most Holy Place for all the faithful to enter the throne of God and to receive the Covenant of Love. The Most Holy Place is the Most Holy Church of God. People of all races who receive the Gospel of Salvation can now approach the mercy seat of God to receive His blessings for all has been sanctified through the blood of Christ. Brethren, today let us approach the throne of God in worship and thanks with humble and faithful spirits. God is seeking those who worship Him in spirit and in truth.
