As people of God, He gave us the authority and the power to preach the gospel of salvation. We are Ambassadors of Christ in this world. We are the Chosen Nation sent to bring the Gospel to the sinners. By proclaiming the Words of God, we open the blind minds of the sinners. We bring them to their knees before God in true repentance and equipping them to serve Him faithfully. We show them how to live a Christian life. We teach them by our exemplary lives how to overcome difficulties, suffer in the name of Christ, and offer sacrifices of thanksgiving and worship to God. In effect, by preaching and living godly, we disciple them to become like us – imitating the life of Christ until we all come to His exact image. How Christ lived is how we should live: He lived in faithful obedience to the Father.
