“According to your faith, let it be done for you!” (Matthew 9:29 ISV)
God is awesome in His power. In us, His power works according to the extent of our faith in Him. If we fully and genuinely believe that He is the only Almighty God, that in Him nothing is impossible, and if what we asked for is according to His will, then it will be done. Yes, God is full of compassion. He listens to our prayers and supplications. He is able to grant our requests if we do not doubt Him. We have to continuously pray and be patient in waiting for God’s answer. He is God. We cannot command Him. He does according to His will. In God’s time and in His way, we shall receive the best from Him. Let us not ask for less than what God intends us to give. Ask for lasting gifts which will give us genuine happiness, joy, and peace. Ask for spiritual gifts. Other things we need in this life shall be given to us in addition to those which are spiritual.
