Let Us Pray No. 74

  • March 15, 2017

“I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.” Galatians 5:16

Abba, gracious Lord and Father, we were offenders turned into followers and disciples in your Kingdom. The former evil nature we are accustomed to were buried through baptism into death and we are now blessed to live and behave in the newness of life we are now enjoying. What we are did before was the dictate of the flesh; we have been subservient from Satan’s slavery until you empowered us with your Holy Spirit so that we now live in the Spirit. You tamed our wayward spirit and taught us how to walk with you in holiness and righteousness. Thank you Father for we have learned to say NO to sins. Help us to develop our thinking in conformity with yours, our words to speak the truth in love and our deeds to show our qualities as your true disciples. May the love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control as fruit of the Holy Spirit continuously make us willing to suffer in the flesh and at the end to completely cease and desist from sins. Lord we pray that you guide us in our Christian walk today and every day. Amen.
