Let Us Pray No. 61

  • March 2, 2017

“He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake.” Psalms 23:3

Abba, Father God, you are the Shepherd of our souls. You are the leader that we should follow all our lives. We do not want to hold on to our own understanding which leads to nowhere but misfortunes and destructions. You teach us continuously your precepts which guide us to a place of peace through the narrow road of righteousness. We are aware that the road is uphill, and we sometimes become weary and lonely. Against the trials and temptations that we encounter along the way, our flesh become tired and beaten, but it is you who refresh our soul, you restore our lives so that we may be able to continue to walk according to your instructions in perfect holiness, for the sake of your glory. Dear Lord, I trust you completely. I commit my spirit in your hands. I will follow you even to the place outside of my comfort zone, even if inside me, my flesh battles with my spirit and even if I have to lose in following you. Abba, I pray that you hold my hand and be assured that you lead me to the best place where I can ever be, where I can be happy. It is in your house, in your church, where love, peace and blessings abound. Amen.
