Let Us Pray No. 360

  • December 26, 2023

But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. (1 Peter 5:10 NKJV)

Abba, God our Father, You adopted us and clothed us with glory same as Yours. You called us to live according to the holiness You taught us. When You came into the flesh, you made Your glory shine the brightest after going through and overcoming every trial and suffering. As our Lord and Master, we can never be above You. For us to be glorified like You, we must also go through countless trials and sufferings. Father, please give us the courage to face the things we are about to suffer. We know that You are allowing us to go through these trials not because You want to inflict us pain but You are preparing us to receive greater glory. You are molding us to be worthy heirs of Your glorious and incomparable promises. Please always remind us that the sufferings we experience are temporary and will pass sooner or later. We know that we will eventually suffer less, not because the trials get lighter, but because we already got accustomed to trials and we are already stronger than we were before. That way, become more matured Christians able to offer You the praises and glory due to Your holy name.  Please be with us now and every moment of our lives. We pray all these in the name of Christ Jesus, our Lord God. Amen.
