Then your light shall break forth like the morning, Your healing shall spring forth speedily, And your righteousness shall go before you; The glory of the LORD shall be your rear guard. (Isaiah 58:8 NKJV)
Abba, God Most High, our Father in heaven, the light of Your glory radiates out of Your kindness and goodness. We see Your light daily in our lives through the favors You do for us. You abound us with all our needs; sustain our health and strength; heal us from our sickness; protect us from diseases; and, help us keep our faith, the key to our soul’s salvation. Father, we know You abound us with material and spiritual blessings not to keep them for ourselves but to also generously share them for other’s welfare, especially their spiritual well-being. If it is within our power to help someone in need, please give us the initiative to act immediately to their aid. If You blessed us with authority over other people, may we take advantage of it to introduce You to them. May we use all resources You give us to proclaim Your salvation to the people around us. We know You will be with us and fully support us in touching other people’s lives as Your medium to connect with them. Lord, we just ask for Your guidance and sustenance. We pray all these to Your name, Christ our King. Amen.
