Let Us Pray No. 347

  • December 13, 2023

Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, leading to edification. (Romans 15:2 NKJV)

Abba, Holy Father, You adopted us to be the children of Your grace. We received the right to be called Your children solely because of Your love and nothing else. Your love transcends all races, color, gender, age, and status. Therefore, we, the members of Your household, have different cultures, upbringings, and beliefs before You called us. Now, we are obliged to be of one faith and one spirit. There is no other way to do that but to truly and fervently love one another. Sometimes, we may hurt one another due to our weaknesses, but we do not want to lose any member of Your household. Therefore, we pray to please help us seek ways to please each other according to Your will. May we see holy ways of comforting one another in times of our troubles. May we know how to properly reprimand one another with loving-kindness, so we may be of help to one another in correcting our ways, for us to walk towards the perfection of holiness. May we always be creative in finding ways to serve one another for the edification of our faith and Your body, which is the Church. We believe all this will lead to Your name’s glorification, therefore we pray. Amen.
