Let Us Pray No. 335

  • December 1, 2023

Do not grumble against one another, brethren, lest you be condemned. Behold, the Judge is standing at the door! (James 5:9 NKJV)

Abba, God our Father, You are the righteous judge. No one can influence You in making Your judgment. We were all sinners when You found us. None of us were righteous. We all deserve to be punished with a death sentence. Despite being unworthy before Your glory, You did not condemn us. Instead, You gave us a chance to live in holiness, so we may spend our lives pleasing You. Therefore, we thank You for the wonderful fate You have given us. We also pray to please help us love our brothers and sisters just like how You loved us. May we not sin by saying things that may destroy the character and image of any of our brothers and sisters. Since we are all members of Your body, may we have the same care for one another. May we learn to treat and care for everyone like we do for ourselves. May we always remember that we will also bear the mishaps of our brothers and sisters. So, may we avoid causing them harm. Likewise, as our brothers and sisters rejoice, we will rejoice with them. Therefore, may we help each other, in any way possible, in achieving spiritual success and even our personal desires. We know we will give You great pleasure if You see us in a harmonious relationship. That is why this is our prayer in Your name, Christ Jesus. Amen.
