Let Us Pray No. 321

  • November 17, 2021

Indeed it was for my own peace That I had great bitterness; But You have lovingly delivered my soul from the pit of corruption, For You have cast all my sins behind Your back. (Isaiah 38:17)

Abba, God our Father, You are the King above all. You gave us our glorious liberty when You forgave our sins and granted us salvation. Your forgiveness is divine. You made us a new creation, pure and holy, without any taint of sin. You made us know we are now liberated from being slaves of corruption, which was a dark time in our life. Walking by Your sacred commandments will lead us to the glorious everlasting life. But there are hurdles, sufferings, and temptations seeking to strip us of the glory You gave us. This is the great tribulation we face each day. However, we fully believe persevering through all these will lead us to the perfection of holiness You seek us to achieve. If so, we will please You and Your delight will cause us incomparable peace. This peace is the key to a happy life in the midst of all the sorrows we battle along the path we are on. Thank You, Father, for the gift of glory. Please accept our praises to Your name, Christ Jesus. Amen.
