And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also. (1 John 4:21)
Abba, God our King, You are our Father who created and adopted us as children. As our Father, You have countless ways to show us Your everlasting and perfect love. One of Your great ways is giving us our brothers and sisters, especially our brothers and sisters in faith. We may not know each other. We came from different places, beliefs, culture, and way of life. But all these proves You never discriminate. You are the God who loves all. So, we thank You, not just for calling us as Your children but also for giving us our brothers and sisters, as the proof of Your love for us. Please teach us to love one another as the proof of our love for You. Above all our differences and many flaws, may Your love always prevail over us. By that, our fellowship will give You joy when You see us peacefully dwell together in unity and love. We say this prayer in Your name, Christ Jesus, our God and Father. Amen.
