For whom the Lord loves He corrects, Just as a father the son in whom he delights. Proverbs 3:12
Abba, our Great Father, You are the God Most High, perfect in Your holiness. You did not just call us to be Your servants, but You have chosen us to be Your children. Because of these, You have become our Holy Father. You ordered us to be holy like You are holy. Because You are our most beloved, we wholeheartedly yearn to heed Your command. We desire to attain the perfection of our holiness to please and glorify You. But there are times we commit mistakes and go astray. Sometimes, we forget the purpose of Your great calling. If we experience these circumstances, we pray Your love continuously abound in us. This is through correcting our way of life. Like a father who disciplines his child, we know You want us to live righteously. So, when You discipline us, we pray that we humbly acknowledge and accept it. We also hope to repent our sins and live a life that is pleasing to You. We believe that You will grant us our prayers, through Jesus Christ, our God and Savior. Amen.
