Let Us Pray No. 243

  • August 31, 2023

“Who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.” (2 Corinthians 1:4 NKJV)

Abba, our God, and Father, at all times, You desire our joy, so we may remain faithful to You. Thank you, our Father, for we remain in service to You. Despite all the tribulations we experienced, and will experience, Your Holy Spirit always comforts us. Your Holy Spirit is our joy amidst all the sorrow. Even so, we have brethren who are overwhelmed by many sorrows as a result of tribulations. Our Father, may each of us become Your instruments to restore them to the vigor of service. As You comfort us during our sadness, may we comfort our brethren as well. May we make them feel the love we have felt from You. So, we can all be together in gladness in praising and glorifying Your name. Together, we can proclaim the beauty of Your will, that You have been our support for all our needs. You ordered us to love and serve one another. Therefore, our God, we request for You to give us all the ways we can do to fulfill Your order, so we will be manifested to the world as Your true, beloved children. Our hope is high that with Your help, we can do all these things. We pray this in Your name, Christ Jesus, our only God, and Savior. Amen.
