O Lord, be gracious to us; We have waited for You. Be their arm every morning, Our salvation also in the time of trouble. (Isaiah 33:2 NKJV)
Abba, our God, and Father, all the things that happened in the past, the things that are currently happening, and the things that will happen in the future all happen with Your permission. Nothing is hidden from You. A lot of things can give sadness and unrest to people, even to Your appointed ones, but thanks to You, our God, it is clear to us why You make all these things happen. The goal of all these is for our sake as Your children. We are fully confident that we will not fail in our hope. We know that Your mercy will be with us in times of the difficulties we will go through. Teach us to hold on tightly to Your promises, so we may remain faithful in any situation of our lives. When we wake up in the morning, may we always see You, so we can spend the whole day in Your glory. With this, we can save for heavenly treasures, which will make us worthy to receive Your promise of eternal life. There we will be with You, in a world without sadness and turmoil. There we will praise and glorify You forever because You are our only God who had mercy and care for us. Amen.
