Let Us Pray No. 234

  • August 22, 2023

I said, “O my God, Do not take me away in the midst of my days; Your years are throughout all generations. (Psalm 102:24 NKJV)

Abba, our Most High God, You are the God without a shadow of any change. From then until now, and even in the coming times, You will remain full of goodwill. You, oh, good God, are the Giver and Holder of our lives. You maintain our strength. You give us the ability to do things that please You. Being the owner of our lives and the source of our strength, You can rightfully take our breaths whenever You want. However, our Lord God, if Your will allows it, we plead for You to add many more days to our lives—not just to enjoy the happiness in this life but so we can also give You many offerings to Your holy heights. May we have many more days, so we can worship and serve You. Also, if Your will allows it, may we remain strong and have a clear mind until the day You have set as Your second coming. On that day, we will witness the exciting revelation of Your glory to the whole world. And on that day, the eternal life will also begin, which we will use in ceaselessly praising and glorifying Your holy name. This is our plea and prayer in Your name, Christ Jesus, our Lord God, and Savior. Amen.
