Let Us Pray No. 210

  • July 29, 2023

Now may the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the patience of Christ.  (2 Thessalonians 3:5)

Abba, our Father and King, God of everlasting love who has no equal. The love You gave us is great and true. Though we are not worthy of love because of our great number of sins, You have made us experience Your loving-kindness. You manifested in the flesh and were crucified to redeem us from our sins. You have given us new life, so we may walk pleasingly before You. Until now, You continue to guide and teach us on how we can offer You joy. You help us be patient despite the hardships that go hand in hand with being Your disciple. Our long-suffering brings us to greater heights of holiness. As we draw closer to the perfection of our faith, we come to know You more. We come to see clearer the entirety of Your immeasurable love. That is why we pray for You to let us grow stronger despite the numerous sufferings we will face. Help us focus our eyes on Your love, so we may reach the end of the path You have us journey on. We pray all this to You, in Your name Christ Jesus, our Father and Savior. Amen.
