“And if children, then heirs; heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.” Romans 8:17
Abba Father, you and your Words of Truth are permanent and eternal. Everything on this earth is temporary and will surely pass away. You gave us the knowledge to discern what is lasting and not. What we have in our hands will be gone in your appointed time no matter how long we would want them to stay in our palms. It is your will for us to use them righteously and for your glory while they are in our care. When it is your permissive will for us to experience loss and desolation, we also have this heavenly knowledge that we become partakers of your sufferings and pains. Abba Father, provide us a big heart so that we can take all the hardships we are to go through as we walk in the road towards perfection of our faith. It affirms our rights as your children and the assurance of being heirs of all your blessings. Indeed, oh Lord, we strongly believe that losing is not really losing at all! It is our statement of faith that whatever we lost for your name’s sake, we shall receive hundred fold of blessings in this life and the crowning of eternal glory in future eternity. Amen.
