Let Us Pray No. 104

  • April 14, 2021

For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. (1 Corinthians 1:18)

Abba, our Father, we reflect the preaching of the cross that for others it is such a foolishness but for us this is the doctrines that teach us how great and compassionate you are to us, who were saved and cleansed from all sins. We also had been subservient from sins and lived as transgressors. You redeemed us and now enjoy the newness of life. You promised to us that we will live in paradise in heaven with You. Father, we thank you for giving us a Spiritual Mother, your Most Holy Church, who cares for us as children of your kingdom. Help us now to be willing to drink in the cup of bitterness as you did, for it is our delight to suffer in doing the right things and not to suffer as sinners anymore. We shall carry our gift of ministry to the end even if it could mean the offering of our entire life and strength as our gratitude, praises and worship to you. Lord, thank you for taking our sins in the cross and for giving us the amazing grace and truth that we are now your inheritors of the eternal life and your unfathomable richness in heavens. Amen!
