I have blotted out your transgressions like a cloud and your sins like mist; return to me, for I have redeemed you. (Isaiah 44:22 ESV)
Sins are like clouds which separates us from God. They hide the face of God from us that we cannot see His love, mercy and grace. We become blind to see the truth, His ways and the value of life. We become cold to perform our duties, no longer joyful in worship and prefer the world for the Church. We lose our hopes, love and our faith in God. But God loves us. He removed the clouds. He alone has the power to do it. He forgave our sins. He threw them away and erased all of them. We have regained our vision and mission in life. We have regained fellowship with God and with the brethren. We are motivated anew to serve and worship Him because of His redemption. We are His and we owe Him everything. Let us awe ourselves. Do you feel you are already doing enough to serve Him? Are you giving your best in performing your ministry? I urge you to do more for Him. Do not be complacent in your duties. Return to me, said the Lord. Rekindle your first love.
