I keep your law in my heart, so that I will not sin against you. (Psalms 119:11 GNB)

It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone; you shall not tempt the Lord your God; you shall worship the Lord your God and only Him you shall serve… Brethren, the words of God are not only written on paper and ink for us to read. The words of God are written in our hearts. We should keep them as a treasure that we greatly value. His words are nourishment to our souls. They are our only weapon against the attacks of Satan. They are a ready help when we are lonely and discouraged. Most importantly, they will prevent us from committing sins. If we keep His laws in our heads, many times we forget them. Not in our hands for the flesh is weak, but the safest place we can keep the most valued treasure is in our hearts. From the heart, our soul hears God as He speaks to us in a gentle and soft way to encourage, strengthen, guide and lead us. It gives us life and energy to live according to His will. Let us hear the words of God. Meditate on them every day TO OBEY THEM. Let us seek His words and keep them in our treasure box in our hearts. Fill them up to the brim and increase our riches in heaven.
