Gold Dust No. 211

Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me. (Revelation 3:20 NIV)

God is long-suffering, slow to anger, full of compassion and mercy. He does not want anyone to perish in hell but wants that all come to repentance, receive baptism and be saved. Men have been lost because of sins, and are separated from the Holy God. Their hearts were shut off from Him. But see the love of God, He came to save the lost souls. He knocks on our hearts so we can have peace with Him. He took the first step so we can be reconciled with Him. But many, because their hearts were hardened, rejected Him. They do not open their hearts to receive Him in their lives. Even then, God keeps on knocking, waiting and wanting to help us. He is just at our doorstep. He is just one small step away and you can receive the blessing of salvation and all good things that come with it. Listen. Knock, knock, knock! Who’s there? It’s me, God. Let’s talk. I am here to help you. God, come into my life and bless me!
