The LORD blesses everyone who freely gives food to the poor. (Proverbs 22:9 CEV)
Know that God is the source of everything we have, from the air we breathe to the food we eat. We are just stewards of the gift of life and resources we enjoy. Are you a good steward of whatever God has given you? Remember that we are accountable to God for all that He has entrusted us. Use them wisely. God’s abundant blessings may be compared to a huge water reservoir. Water is life. Faucets are connected to it through pipelines. If the faucets are fully open, water flows freely, continuously and abundantly. You can have your share to your satisfaction and something to share for other’s needs. If it is restricted, water only trickles and no one enjoys it. We are all channels of blessings. If we open our hearts and our hands to share our blessings to others, abundant blessing will come into our lives. If we close our hearts and our hands, even we will not have enough to enjoy. If we do not convey God’s blessings to others, He may cutoff the supply. So what kind of steward are you?
