As wisdom is to your soul, so is honey to your body. Knowledge and under – standing should come hand in hand. Knowledge without under – standing is futile. We prove that we are wise by our good deeds and righteous living. Godly wisdom is far better than earthly wisdom. The difference is like heaven and earth. Knowledge of this lowly world is foolish – ness to God. Wisdom, which we must desire the most, is sweet to our soul. It nourishes our spirit, strengthens our faith and guides our path to success and happiness. True wisdom comes from the words of God. We should delight in the words of God, feed our soul daily, and exercise them. Again, exercising our physical body gives physical benefits, whereas holiness provides physical and spiritual benefits in this world and in the new world to come. We are fortunate that the wisdom of God is revealed to us. No one may search for it and find it. It is freely given to the chosen ones. Brothers and sisters, be careful to live in wisdom and understanding of God’s words. People will then see our good works and say, “Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people”.
