FP No. 26

So they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for His name.

Act 5:41 NKJV
When we surrendered ourselves to Christ as our Lord and Savior, through baptism and public confession, we are actually declaring that we are ready to suffer and die for Him. The Apostles and the early Christians suffered persecutions and even tragic death in the hands of the unbelievers. Why? Because we are not of the world and therefore the world reject us, as the world rejects Christ. Christ allows us to suffer, to test our faith as well as to make us perfect. Knowing all these, we are more than happy to suffer for Christ and for the advancement of His Kingdom. Christ is honored by our faithfulness while we suffer. We know that He is with us all through out. In the end, He shall be there to glorify us. Thus, let us proceed in propagating the Gospel of Christ all over the world with boldness and with the power of the Holy Spirit. Let us be of good courage because of the hope that Christ will triumph and rule the world with us. Lead a soul to His Kingdom. Commit ourselves to the preaching of the Words as we have committed ourselves to Christ. Experience that great joy in saving a soul. Act now!
