I now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up in my flesh what is lacking in the afflictions of Christ, for the sake of His body, which is the church. (Colossians 1:24 NKJV)
We are willing to suffer for the ones we love, but if we are doing it because of love, would we consider it suffering? You will go out of your comfort zone because of love. You will do things out of the ordinary because of love. You will go beyond your limits because of love. You will go the extra mile because of love. You will be a better version of yourself because of love. Even God left His high throne for a while, manifested Himself in the flesh, and humbled Himself as a slave – all because of love. There is nothing you would not do because of love. You will consider all your sufferings as your joy because of love. Now, if we love the Church, the Most Holy Church of God in Christ Jesus, there would be no task that is too big or too difficult for us. We will always find a way to give what the Church needs to uphold its mission. Since we love the Church so much, our gladness is not just to see the Church achieve its mission but also to contribute our sacrifices for it. THE MOST HOLY WILL BE EXALTED FOR THE GLORY OF THE MOST HIGH GOD!
