For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous;
With favor You will surround him as with a shield. (Psalms 5:12 NKJV)
Count your blessings and not your problems. Then, we will see that we all have the reasons to be happy and to be joyful. Therefore, we have every reason to thank our God. Moreover, we also have every reason and right to share what God has done for us. Tell people of all the good things God has done in your life. It may not be easy for you to win them. They may decry and belittle us. Instead of accepting us, they may hurt us, but we have nothing to worry about during those times, as long as we are doing the right things in His sight. Our God will be our shield to protect us, even if our life will be at stake because of the sword and arrows from the enemies that attempt to harm us. God’s favor is on our side. As the year approaches its end, let us all be of courage to step forward, closer in perfecting the holiness God has told us to do. One thing is sure: more blessings are on its way to lead us in such victorious days ahead.
