Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor. (1 Corinthians 3:8 NKJV)

It is more blessed to give than to receive. To serve is better than to be served. As loyal servants of the Lord, we, the brethren of the Most Holy Church, should spend our lives not only in serving God but also in serving others. How can we serve others according to the will of the Lord? First, we should serve others by planting in their hearts the seed of faith; by sharing to them the Gospel which we received and believed. Second, once they believe and are baptized, let us take care of them and teach them how to care for the brethren as well. If we participate with these two great ministries of the Church, evangelization and caring ministries, we are doing the will of God. What we sow is what we reap. If we preach the Gospel to more people, more will be called into the Church and accept salvation. If we extend our love and care to more members of the Church, more will stay and will participate in the propagation of the Gospel. The more industrious we are in doing God’s will, the more blessings will come into our lives and likewise to the whole body of Christ.
