For God did not call us to uncleanness, but in holiness. (1 Thessalonians 4:7 NKJV)

It is God who called us out from the Kingdom of darkness and transferred us to the Kingdom of Light. God is Holy and we, who were called, ought to be holy. He hates iniquities and impurities, whether they be physical or spiritual. That was the fashion by which we lived when we have not seen the light. We lived in darkness and did things in secret as sinners do. Now that we walk our lives in the brightness of day, we do things which are true, honorable, and right. How we carry ourselves says a lot about who we are. Our appearance, ideas, words, and specially our actions should prove that we are the children of God. Be worthy of God’s divine call. We are not of this world and should not adapt the culture of the world. We are citizens of heaven therefore, live a holy, righteous, and godly life. The principle by which we live is holiness; the language we speak is the truth; and, the purpose of existence is to glorify God and win people to Christ. Our witnessing will be in vain if we do not live according to what we preach. Live by the saying, “Cleanliness is next to Godliness.”
