Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints. (Ephesians 6:18 NKJV)
God has a storehouse of blessings available for all of us to enjoy. He is happy and generous in giving to those who depend on and trust in Him. “Ask and it shall be given to you.” Prayer is the pipeline for His blessings. Let us pray to receive God’s abundant blessings. Others do not pray. Their reason is that God knows everything anyway, but God wants us to show our dependence on Him through prayers. Some pray only when their needs are great. They do not want to bother God for small things. Realize this, brethren: there are no small or big things for God. God is great and powerful that all we need are small and simple for Him. Ask God for anything and He is able to give it. We should pray without ceasing. To always pray means it is a habit that we do. Always communicate with God through prayers. Praise, thank, and glorify God through our constant prayers. Be spirit-filled when we pray. Our requests must be according to the will of God and His words, according to His Spirit. When we pray in the Spirit, it will be done because God approves of it. Persevere in praying. Do not waiver. Continue and keep on praying. However, do not be as if your prayer is recorded, being played repeatedly. God does not answer prayers as if He has a tally sheet. We sometimes stop or pray less when the need becomes not urgent or unimportant. We have to pray fervently. Lastly, request not only for things that YOU need but for the needs of OTHERS. Brethren, LET US PRAY.
