And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. (Galatians 6:9 NKJV)

Consistency is important for a Christian. We should not let any other factors affect us in doing what the Lord told us. To do what is good should be a part of a Christian’s everyday life. He is expected to tell the truth all the time, extend a hand to those in need, obey the rules, keep his integrity, be compassionate, be extra understanding, be pure, be humble, be forgiving, and be the light of this world. Because of these, would you think that it is burdensome to be a Christian? The answer would be yes IF you lack one thing important above all these – LOVE. You read that right. Love gives us persistence in everything we do, leading to consistency. Living in love will give you the extraordinary ability to be a light in the dark, the warmth in the cold, the joy in depressing times, the hope of the discouraged, and the strength of the weak. I urge you to be consistent in doing these things, even if you come to a situation where you are forced not to; even if those you helped throughout your life do not repay you. After all, the greatest reward that we long to receive cannot be found on this world. It is waiting for us in heaven, and we can enjoy it for the rest of eternity
