Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong. (1 Corinthians 16:13 NKJV)
Faith is the greatest gift from God we can ever receive. We received our faith not because we have or haven’t done something to deserve it. Even our qualities, capabilities, status, wealth, strength, and wisdom will never be enough for us to deserve our faith. We now have faith because God showed mercy on us. We departed from the path God has set before us by sinning. Because of sin, we are destined to death. But the everlasting love of God gave us the faith we have now. Faith is the key to our salvation, and we cannot find and receive this from anywhere and anyone but God. So now, we have all the opportunities to secure our faith. Let us not give our faith up in exchange for anything. Even when we are facing trials bigger than ourselves, always remember that the God who gave us faith is the Almighty no person and no problem or trial is bigger than Him or can even be at par with Him. As long as we have faith and live by it, we have the strength no adversary could ever overcome.
