Heroes are born in battle. As Christian Soldiers, we are the visible army of Christ, an army that is part of the double hosts called Mahanaim. The other army is the angels sent by God to help us in our spiritual fight against the powers of darkness led by the devil. There are heroes of faith like Noah, Abraham, Moses, Joshua, Caleb, David, also, the Apostles, Stephen and many others. We also have heroes in our generation. We want to be heroes like them because they received what God had promised. God promised the same inheritance to us if we endure to the end. We should imitate them in their faith, sufferings, and perseverance. Follow their examples, not outwardly but inwardly – by heart. Live by the principles that led them to attain the promise. Like them, we have to live by the principle of seed time and harvest time. While we live on earth, this holds true. Plant the seed now, wait, and be patient for the harvest season will soon come in due time. Do not delay in planting good seeds of righteousness and you will harvest righteousness. Give generously and you shall receive generous returns. God promised the increase and He will do as he promised. What seeds are you sowing? Sow the things for heaven and gain heaven as your inheritance.
