But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers. (1 Peter 4:7 NKJV)
Apostle Paul warned us that in the last days, perilous times will come. People will increase in wickedness. People will be lovers of themselves. They will grow colder and stop loving each other. They will only care to do what will benefit them, even if it means harm to others. When these times come, we should be watchful enough to not stumble. We must be steadfast in our faith. We will need inner peace to avoid confusion caused by happenings around us. The peace we need to survive despite all the troubles cannot be found in this world – it is outside of this world. That is why we should be prayerful. The Most High God is the only one who can give us the strength, hope, and peace we will need to withstand everything that is coming our way. He knows everything. He knows what will happen either in the near or far future. So, let us entrust Him our lives, health, plans, and decisions, for us to be sure that we will be successful and happy in everything that we do. Let us pray to Him to make us able to look through and beyond all the negativity around us, so that we can see all the positivity behind them. At the end of each day filled with prayers, we will see how the mighty works of God’s hands helped us peacefully and victoriously through a day full of troubles
