My foot has held fast to His steps; I have kept His way and not turned aside. (Job 23:11 NKJV)
When the Holy Scriptures speak about walking with God, it speaks about the manner of life. Persons who walk with God are not difficult to recognize. Their lifestyle is definitely opposite to the worldly people. They are like sparkling stars in the dark of the night. They are noticeable. That is what we must be. We are the light of the world, so let our light shine. When they see our good works, the Lord God is being glorified.
In order to keep your feet walking in His steps, there are road signs which guide us during our life’s journey. They are the same as when we travel along the road towards our destination:
S A – Godward, Heavenward N L T – Walk in the path of righteousness. N U T – Do not walk back towards your past life. O W – Jesus is the only Way, the Truth and the Life. S – Stop sinning; live holy.
Walk, travel carefully. The best way to walk safely in this world full of dangers is to walk humbly with God.
