Place yourselves under each other’s authority out of respect for Christ.(Ephesians 5:21 GW)
The Church is the house of God. We are His family. God our Father is a God of order, peace and love. He commands us to love one another, to live harmoniously with one another and to submit ourselves to one another. The latter proves that we are all equal in the eyes of God and as such we should treat each other as co-equal. There should not be distinctions between rich and poor, strong and weak, wise and foolish etc. Also, there should not be discrimination based on race, skin color, language, culture etc. Knowing that we were all bought with the blood of Christ and heirs of the same covenant blessings in the Kingdom of God as children of God, we should not be domineering, giving orders to one another, instead be always ready to serve one another in the spirit of love.
