For he was looking forward to the city that has foundations, whose designer and builder is God. (Hebrews 11:10 ESV)
We are elected to be citizens of heaven, belonging to God’s divine family. We are not of this world. We are promised a life much different than what we experience here on earth. Life here is short and full of troubles. We get old, become sick, and die. Life is a roller coaster of success and failure, of tears and laughter, and more of persecution and sacrifices because of our faith in the God. We regard the “good life”, offered by this world, as losses to gain the promise of eternal blessings of heavenly life. Consider, Brethren, that Satan offers this world – its wealth, honor, and happiness – in exchange for our loyalty to God. Do not be tempted. Satan is a liar! He does not own anything. Flatly reject him and resist him. Believe God and be strong in your faith and steadfast in your hope for a life in the New Jerusalem, the holy city, where God is the light, life, and love. Want to experience paradise? Paradise is when you walk with God. It demonstrates godly living in faith, hope, and love for the Lord. Bless you all.
