Who will transform and fashion anew the body of our humiliation to conform to and be like the body of His glory and majesty, by exerting that power which enables Him even to subject everything to Himself. (Philippians 3:21 AMP)
We are just passing through in this world. Our home is in heaven with our Father, the Most High God. For now we have to contend living in this lowly world. Here, we exist with a physical body which was defiled by sins. It is a temporal body, mortal and subject to decay. That is why this body is inflicted with all kinds of sickness, defects, aging, and death. Ashes to ashes and dust to dust is the final destination of this physical body. But there is another body that we have: our inner body – our soul. Though we depart from this world, there is another world that we should look forward to. It is home to us, the heaven. There we will exist forever in glory with our Lord. We shall have a body suitable to live in heaven. There will never be sickness and defects, not even death. We can have this glorious body if we live now like Jesus did: obedient to the father and righteous and faithful in worshipping. If we die in Christ in this life, we shall live in Christ forever and ever. Amen.
