Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. (Hebrews 12:2 NIV)
If you want to finish the race of faith, look at Jesus Christ. He exemplified as the Champion in this field. He is our Leader, our Captain who began a good work in us by washing us of our sins with His blood. He sanctifies us with His words that guide us to holiness until we reach the perfection of our faith. By looking at Jesus, our confidence and hope become strong. It motivates us to continue to run and finish the race. We should imitate Him in His humility, obedience, faithfulness, and perseverance in His faith. It is as if we are running a relay race. Christ is our leader and we are His teammates. If we are not focused, we will slow down and worse, stumble and lose the race because of distractions in this world. Give your best in the race of faith. Conquer the field of this world and win. If you win, you will sit down beside Christ in His throne of honor. There is only one way to win. Be with the DREAM TEAM, the team of Christ. He is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end, and the first and last. What we cannot do, He will do for us to win. Be a champion. Be with Christ. Be baptized in His Church.
